Sorry. I'm Busy, Busy, Busy!

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! Most of us fall prey to these words given the pace at which our lives move and it's not to say it is not real. It's very real. However, as a receiver of these words, it can hurt if I'm longing for a different outcome that would bring the love and warmth of connection I long for in my heart of hearts. As a giver of these words, no doubt, I've disappointed or saddened others as well. Or... it may not be about a relationship, but that I've been in denial about something more important that I need to take care of. Just noticing as we move into 2014 that perhaps if we took pause a little more this year without making ourselves so "busy, busy, busy" that we would attend to what needs our attention most. Healing a wounded relationship, nurturing artistic expression, having fun vs. work work work, getting finances in order, etc. If you are using "busy" to numb or avoid a situation that needs some fix'n....just notice...and do what you need to do. Only you know....... be true to YOU. xo
